Jo Dixon

​

Jo is a prominent 21st century figurative artist and a member of both the South West Academy of Fine and Applied Arts and the Society of Women Artists. Listed in 'The Dictionary of Artists in Britain since 1945,' she has won numerous awards and and exhibited throughout the UK.

After training at Hammersmith College of Art, Jo worked as an art teacher in central London before moving to Devon, where she maintains her studio today. She works mainly with oils and charcoal and her travels through India, North Africa and the Far East have inspired much of her art.

Jo is currently exhibiting with SWAc at the Thelma Hulbert Gallery. She has an upcoming solo exhibition in London later this year.
